There is a new Earth Hour 2015 WordPress template that you can use in case you want to set up an Earth Hour website/blog. This can be hosted on our wpengine.com account for free. Download WordPress EH theme: english / español
THEME FEATURES:
- The theme looks like the screenshots below.
- On the homepage, the most recent ‘featured’ post will be highlighted with a call-to-action button.
- Earth Hour countdown (taking the local time of the visitor).
- Responsive layout for smartphones and tablets.
- There are some menu items and boxes (New video, Create your own event, Take action) on the homepage that link to the Earth Hour Global website, which must stay there. But you can also create additional pages, homepage boxes and menu items according to your content.
- The theme is currently set up in english or spanish. Additional languages can be added.
ALL YOU NEED TO DO:
- Get a domain name (e.g. http://www.earthhour-mexico.org) or subdomain (e.g. http://earthhour2015.wwf.org.mx). Otherwise the domain would be something standard like: http://mexico.eh2015.wpengine.com
- Prepare the content and then add it (i will give you access details)
- Send me links to your social channels (otherwise they will link to EH global channels)
- In case it is in a different language, send me the translations to be added to the theme.
